In the Western Cape between Betty's Bay and Kleinmond – nestled amongst the fynbos of the Kogelberg Biosphere – lies the historic Blomhuis Estate. On the Estate, at the foot of the Elephant Rock mountain overlooking De Wet's Bay, you will find Die Blomstoor. Die Blomstoor is an old stone building, restored to a stylish Cape Dutch wedding venue with not only whales, but also game forming part of the scenic view.
Die Blomstoor venue can accommodate 80-120 guests. It has a cosy chapel with a magnificent view over the ocean, a spacious dining hall with a 16th century castle atmosphere and a well-equipped kitchen for the caterers. The dining tables are made from solid rare wood to fit the rustic look of the stone building while soft leather couches at the bar will make you feel at home.
Viewing of the wedding venue can be arranged with management.
